raleighkids [ flowerncsu ]	2:36p	Neighborhood-wide yard sale! At least 12 families in my neighborhood are having a simultaneous yard sale this weekend! (Saturday, Aug 16, 8am-12pm, with some participants also selling Sunday morning.) Come out to one neighborhood (convenient to Western Blvd and I-440) and get all the yard-sale goodies you need! Maps are available at 1901 Lorimer Rd, 1318 Lorimer Rd, and 912 Merwin Rd, (27606) listing the 12 participants who provided their addresses. A word of caution about online directions and GPS directions: Many tell you to turn from Western Blvd onto Lorimer; no such connection exists (there's about 6 feet of grass and a tall fence between the two). Others tell you to turn left from Western onto Chaney, which is not possible unless you have an SUV and are willing to make an illegal turn. Kent Rd is an appropriate substitute, and is only a few hundred feet away. Consult a map before leaving to be sure you know how to get where you're going. RAIN OR SHINE! Not all of the 12 will set up rain or shine, but there is no rain date, and several participants have already said they will set up in a carport or garage if it rains. raleighkids [ wuzzle ]	9:31p	2 tix to the Faint @ Cat's Cradle, Friday, Aug 15th (tomorrow) Hi everyone! I realized that I can't make it to the Faint show tomorrow, which really sucks since the last time I saw them at the Cradle was one of the best shows I've ever been to... If someone could take the tickets off my hands, I'd really appreciate it, especially since I'm fairly broke now, too! I did the Etix option, so I can just email a PDF of the tickets to whoever can buy them. They're $22 each, and I could do PayPal, or meet up with anyone in the Durham/Chapel Hill area. Thanks!!! The show is tonight and tickets are sold out. If you or anybody you know want them, give me a shout. Paid $120 for both and will unload for $50.
